So, I took my entry for this year's New York State Fair in yesterday and dropped it off for the judging that is to take place this next week. After last year, with 5 - "Too Common of a Subject" and 1 - "Technical Errors", I was going to wait a few years and let my photography simmer and see if it was possible to improve my technical abilities and tweak my subjective eye.
LQTM....yeah, right.
So, this year I entered 2 - bw, 2 - color and 2 - non-traditional.
I know, or should I say, that I'm pretty sure that one of the bw images is going to be tossed immediately as it contains a copyrighted image within it, and (if I'd read the fine print would have realized this) so cannot be entered at the State competition. Oh well, live and learn the hard way! Long Live the PEEPS!!

So ~ there you have it. My life in the "fast lane". OH - and it was kind of funny...one of the intake people asked me if I knew who was judging...."No"...told me a name, which I now cannot remember...."Oh, cool."....he then laughed and commented that I had no idea, did I....."No"....apparently someone from Syr University.....who knew? Not me!!
